San Francisco Welcome Back Center Library
Thanks to a generous grant from the Office of Minority Health, Region IX, the San Francisco Welcome Back Center was able to fully update the participant lending library, The Zoe Cardoza Clayson Lending Library, with 2010 and 2011 edition books and test preparation materials for our participants to borrow.
The new books include: Kaplan USMLE Step 1 series and many First Aid USMLE books (Step 1, 2 - CK and CS - and Match), Saunders and Mosby's NCLEX-PN and RN books (different series), NBDE (Part 1 and 2) Dental Decks, FPGEE books and flash-cards, and many others.
A total of 135 books, flashcards and decks to help you succeed when taking your licensure and certification exams. Check the current list here.
We are asking for a $20 or $50 fully refundable cash deposit per book.
Please note that all printed resources are in English.
If you would like to check out any of the Center's resources, visit the Welcome Back Center. Participants are allowed to check out two (2) items at a time. A book or study guide can be checked out by a Welcome Back participant for a maximum of two (2) weeks. Participants are allowed to renew the books once, at which time the book or study guide needs to be physically returned to the Welcome Back Center and available for other participants. Upon checkout, Welcome Back participants will be required to sign an agreement, assuming responsibility for returning the book or study guide in good condition and/or assuming financial responsibility for replacing the item if lost. Once the book is returned the participant will get the deposit back. If you have any questions, please contact the San Francisco Welcome Back Center.
